When I shot this couple at a market in southern Turkey, I was struck by the years in their eyes and faces but also by the fact that there has to be a lot more than physical attraction going on between them to last so long. Watching them work was a study in partnership.
My wife and I have been though a lot together. Eighteen years really brings a lot of change, understanding and partnership. I still have a lot to learn about partnership, but she’s teaching me.
